| Dave’s interest
in Bowen started when he went for treatment for RSI
in both elbows. The first session cured a long-standing
back problem, much to his delight, and the RSI disappeared
in the next session.
During Dave’s course, he had substantial success
with his case studies after only the first lesson, including
the removal of hay fever from his son and a dramatic
reduction in his asthma condition.
Dave is also qualified in NLP and finds the combination
with Bowen to be extremely effective.

The Bowen Technique
Our everyday lives subject our bodies to many aspects that
are harmful. Our bodies are finely tuned structures and it
takes very little to upset this balance. Often it is not until
something goes wrong and this balance is upset that we realise
and appreciate how much we rely on good health for our bodies
to function normally
The Bowen Technique is a straightforward, no-nonsense remedial
therapy that is non-intrusive, gentle and relaxing. It affects
your body in ways that promote healing, pain relief and recovery
of energy to restore the balance of the body.
Bowen is a series of gentle and relaxing moves over muscles
and tendons, which empowers the body’s own healing resources
to achieve balance and harmony - resulting in fast and lasting
relief from pain and discomfort. There is no manipulation
or adjustment of hard tissue and no force required.
Completely safe to use on anyone, from the newborn to the
elderly and infirm, for a wide range of conditions from sports
injuries to inner complaints, this innovative and gentle technique
frequently gives substantial relief after the first session.
Bowen is extremely effective for:
- All muscle aches and pains
- All kinds of back pain
- Whiplash, Stiff neck
- Frozen shoulder
- Repetitive Strain Injuries
- Sports injuries
- Stress and tension based problems
- Hay-fever, Asthma
- General relaxation
- And much more…
A treatment is performed on skin or through light clothing
and will take approximately 45 minutes. Three to four treatments,
at weekly intervals, are often sufficient to achieve lasting
relief. The treatment can be done in a chair as well as on
a couch.
